It’s commonplace to hear how “busy” everyone seems to be. The problem, however, is that when you read the Gospels you never get the sense that Jesus was every rushed or busy. This means being overwhelmed is not a badge of honor.

In this episode, we discuss these four reasons why pastors are often overwhelmed when it is own our fault:

  • You don’t proactively schedule your time
  • You don’t have a clear definition of what an emergency is
  • There is a lack of discipline in how you handle your time
  • You check your email too much
